India possess a great wealth of Orchid species and there are also a great many commercial orchid farms existing in all the three major zones.

Visit the species at ORCHIDS SPECIES

Mostly in the north east the nursery people who grow orchids in a commercial manner. But in regions surrounding Mumbai there are three major orchid farms, one in south Madras and in Kerala a big segment of Orchid growers, which is discussed in much detail with the special link to KERALA ORCHIDS..
I have provided links to some of the orchid farms which I happened to visit here.
There are also ORCHID sancturaies or Orchidariums situated in ARUNACHAL PRADESH in north east, YERCAUD in south where orchid species are maintained. Suitable links to these places also will be provided soon.
I have also covered in detail the species from India in the species pages.... Do also have a look at them also.
