Domed products has a variety of labels and signage application. A special branch of resin casting doming has grown into a big business opportunity for specility labels that are used in product from refrigerators to automobiles where brand visibility is important.

Main resins used in the label markets include Polyester clear resins, Polyurethane resins and epoxy resins each with special viscosity range and clarity and can produce varied lens effects that can be used to advantage. It mainly uses the charecteristics of surface tension of a viscous resin to wet a label and create a domed effect and so they are called domed products.

A variety of substrates can be domed to create very intersting items and effects. Paper, board, aluminium, SS, copper, brass, bronze, tin , plastic sheets like acrylic, HIPs, Polycarbonate etc.

Normally all graphics are completed and finsihed and doming is carried out as the last stage in the process of creating a domed object. A variety of colors of clear resins can be used to bring special effects.
