Development of Ceramic Kilns and firing equipments One of our early problems in decorating ceramic and glassware was of firing them to the particular cone. If the items were underfired or overfired the result would lead to changes in color. Secodly there was a limatation in the number of colors that could be used in decal transfers. Further working with undergalze and overgalzes was also a difficulty that we had to overcome. Often and again graphic design concepts that had to be tested needed test firing to arrive at the right color combinations. This provoked us to working on the machineries for firing glassware upto 550*C and ceramic ware upto 800*C and we evolved a series of machinery to do the job form small batches to large continuous operation of around 1000 ware per day.
