Singapore is a paradise for orchid lovers around the world.Right from the time you land at the changi airport you are exposed to a bewildering array of exotic orchids displayed in a best manner with a photo gallery devoted exclusively to orchid Hybrids.The national flower of Singapore is VANDA MISS JOAQUIM a wonderful orchid.

The Main attractions here are

to name the three exotic locales.
Singapore also is the home of
OSSEA-the ORCHID SOCIETY OF SOUTH EAST ASIA.

We have very many commercial orchid farms located in the Sungei tenga agro technology park and also in the Lim chu Kang area. Earlier the seleter farmways used to house a large number of orchid growers . But most of them have either closed shop or moved to neighbouring MALAYSIA-Johore township.
Some of my photographic explorations to the orchid farms and the gardens ,with the help of Mr.Chaw Chin Sin of Genting who organised the same are featured in the linked pages.
