WESTERN GHATS VIEWS
 Bulbophyllum elegantulum seen here almost occupying the whole tree branch.Flowers are pale yellow with maroon stripes upto 6 in umbel.  A detailed view of the specie seen on a tree bark...You can see the clusters creeping and the way the specie seems spreading.  This variety which can be called even as Cirrhopetalum fimbriatum or Bulbophyllum fimbriatum is found in the tracts of Mahabhaleswar ghats.Pinkish yellow flowers which are fragrant and fully scented are long and pedicillate. |
